Gatorade Invasion Gatorade
A content journey that brought the UEFA Champions League experience to Rio’s pickup games.
In Rio, the amateur football scene has soul, history, and hot blood running through every tackle. That is how Gatorade Invasion was born, a journey built to prove that football emotion can live on a neighborhood field or inside the UEFA Champions League.
The challenge, bringing two worlds together with one shared spirit
The mission was clear, to show that Gatorade is for everyone who takes the game seriously, from professional athletes to the real street football players. More than hydration, it was about building an immersive experience with the UEFA Champions League spirit, recreating that atmosphere inside a 100% Rio territory, with local rhythm, language, and soul.
We mapped the city’s key hotspots, talked to players, and found a mythical place for grassroots football, Pau Ferro, known as the “Maracanã of pickup games.”
The Road to Pau Ferro
That is how Gatorade Invasion came to life, a three-act journey designed to generate experience, content, and awareness.
From strategy to the final whistle. A delivery that brought together live marketing, content, and a lot of sweat.
Role: Planning, Content Direction.
